Berlin's complex transit system left commuters juggling multiple apps and outdated timetables, missing connections and wasting time.
The Challenge
Berlin's public transport network spans S-Bahn, U-Bahn, trams, buses, and regional trains across a massive city. Commuters needed to check multiple sources for departure times, often finding themselves rushing for trains that had already left or standing confused at stations with outdated information. The official apps were clunky, slow, and couldn't handle monitoring multiple stations simultaneously.
Our Solution
We created a clean, fast web app that transforms any device into a real-time departure board for Berlin's entire transit network. Using live VBB data, it displays precise departure times with customizable settings – users can set walking time offsets, filter by transport type, and monitor multiple stations simultaneously. The interface updates every few seconds with accurate timing and delay information.

Impact
Commuters now have instant access to real-time transit information across all of Berlin's transport modes. The multi-station dashboard means they can plan their entire journey from one screen, while personalized settings ensure they never miss a connection. Available in 10 languages, it's become an essential tool for both locals and visitors navigating Berlin.
